The Big Latch On will be held from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th April 2025 across New Zealand. Whether you’re breastfeeding, chest feeding, or simply navigating the early stages of parenting, this event is a wonderful opportunity to meet others, share experiences, and feel supported.
The Big Latch On is a global event where parents and caregivers gather to feed their babies at the same time. It’s a celebration of nurturing and care, offering a space for families to connect in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment. The event is for everyone—parents, grandparents, friends, and anyone who wants to show support for families.
This year’s event is extra special as it marks the 20th anniversary of the Big Latch On, which first started in 2005.
It All Started in NZ
Launched in New Zealand, the Big Latch On was created to provide an inclusive space for parents to celebrate their feeding journeys. What began as a local event has now grown into a global movement, fostering community and offering support for parents worldwide. Go us!
Take a Friend or Make New Connections
Parenthood can sometimes feel isolating, especially in the early days. The Big Latch On provides a chance to connect with others who are experiencing similar stages of life. Whether you come alone or bring a friend, it’s a great way to meet people in your community who understand what you’re going through. Our Local Event in Rangiora
