“My advice to everyone is to try and attend an antenatal breast feeding session (available through most hospitals) or get in touch with Le Lache League.
Postnatally I strongly suggest if the breast feeding isn’t going smoothly then invest the $80 and get a lactation consultant to come to your home.
With my first baby I ended up on pharmaceutical drugs to increase my milk supply plus many other herbs and techniques.
I suffered with postnatal depression because of it. So when I got pregnant for the second time I had to do something so I didn’t go through what I went through the first time. I had maternal hypnotherapy which ‘wiped’ all the horror I had the first time and set my body and mind up for a positive experience this time.”
